Why you became a vegan: To actively eliminate my involvement in the harm or suffering of animals. This ripple effect, then has reduction of harm to our planet. Lastly, for the profound health benefits of a whole foods plant-based Vegan lifestyle.
Favorite foods/meals: My favorite foods and meals are typically with international flavors and spices. I enjoy unique pairings of foods for the overall eating experience. I often use the HappyCow app when I’m traveling to locate Vegan restaurants. Some of my favorite restaurants are Plum Bistro in Seattle and Planta in South Beach, Miami! I do enjoy cooking at home and being able to purchase quality ingredients for a fantastic meal!
Favorite exercises: My favorite exercises while training in the gym, include shoulder and lat workouts and focusing on the ongoing development of my glutes and hamstrings tie-in. I train almost 2 hours a day first thing in the morning, six days a week. This enables me to be present for my teen children after they wake on their days off from school.
